volume of interior architecture and interior design projects in the Northern Region of
Malaysia.
Job Scope
- To develop design from given design concept through to final design documentation.
- To review site condition and constraints.
- To source and select all finishes and materials with suppliers.
- To coordinate design with other consultants including Architect, Landscape Architect,
Lighting Designer, Engineers, Specialists, etc.
- To coordinate with relevant teams to provide sufficient details for the production of working
drawings.
- To facilitate and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure construction work reflects the
design intent and direction.
Requirements
- Possesses a passion for good design.
- Ability to carry out RFP throughout design, documentation, site implementations/construction
and handover.
- Good proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Hand
sketch (Revit/BIM is a plus).
- Good time management and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Good proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Interior Architecture / Interior Design; Architectural or
Lighting Design; prior related training a plus

- To source for and assist with the selection of all finishes and materials with suppliers.
- To assist in coordinating design with other consultants including Architect, Landscape

- To assist Senior Designers with generating ideas, servicing clients and managing the
overall schedule.
- To work with the Technical Team to ensure that detailed construction drawings are
completed to expected standards.
- To coordinate the project through to completion via efficient project management.
Requirements
- Good proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Hand

- Diligent, proactive and willing to learn; experience in international practice a plus.

EOWON is looking for a Quantity Surveyor - Interior Design Fit Out (with emphasis on
Hospitality, Residential,
Workplace & Real Estate Sale Gallery Projects) for its Penang HQ,
to work on an increasing volume of interior architecture and interior design projects in the
Northern Region of Malaysia.
Job Scope
- To lead and establishing a client’s requirements.
- Preparing bills of quantities by means of coordinating with all related parties (Design,
Procurement and Finance), facilitate and manage all costing, pricing and analysis of direct and
indirect cost for the BOQ items
- Scrutinize, review of tender drawings/documents for discrepancies, additional BOQ items/scope
and incorporating within the tender offer, liaise with consultant regarding ambiguities contract
work scope and seek clarifications there to.
- Visit Site as and when required to take measurements and monitor progress.
- Analyze and compare quotations at bid stage.
- Analyze and recommend subcontract payments based on actual progress and valuing completed work
and issuing payments requests to finance.
- Check and review the site requisitions and compare them with the approved Bill of Quantity
(BOQ).
- Submit and negotiate contract variations, additional works, snags and maintenance orders.
- Preparing final accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Interior Architecture / Interior Design
/Architectural.
- 3 years of relevant experience as Quantity Surveyor in Interior Joinery Fit out Projects.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit/BIM quantity take-off experience(Revit/BIM is a plus).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong analytical thinkers; Highly analytical with experience in international practice a plus.
- Meticulous and have attention to detail.
- Confident, clear and articulate in English.
- Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to
work; Work well under pressure.
