Project manager - interior fit-out for turnkey solution
with 8 years’ experience and above in residential, workplace, lifestyle & hospitality

EOWON is looking for a Project Manager with emphasis on Residential, Workplace, Lifestyle & Hospitality Projects for its Penang HQ, to work on an increasing volume of interior fit-out turnkey solution projects in the Northern Region of Malaysia.

Job Scope

  • Fully experienced with handling Interior Fitting-Out Turnkey Solution for project planning, mobilization, construction, installations, completion to handover.
  • Able to lead, oversee & monitor a few projects simultaneously.
  • Knows contractual OBLIGATIONS & RIGHTS in all documents from the owner, business trades, local authority bureaus & consultants.
  • Comprehends drawings from architect, engineers, specialists & designers confidently.
  • Comprehends the contract between Main contractor and owner, and/or the NSC.
  • Plan and Setup Master Schedule for Projects.
  • Highly proficiency with software for scheduling.
  • Conversant with MEP interphase with Interior Fitting-out works.
  • To command & control skilled workmen and sub-con on site, and achieve good quality.
  • Able to source for and engagement of sub-contractors/suppliers and make contracts with them, and motivate them to highly efficient work performance.
  • From the project needs, able to extract all the materials required and get them purchased.
  • To be aware of project accounts and make interim claims promptly.
  • Compile all relevant documents from the beginning to the end of the project.
  • To manage & mentoring relevant departments & team members in the project team.
  • Upon completion, to organise and document the closing for the project.
  • Able to lead teams and handle multiple jobs.
  • Coordinate with Design Department to produce shop drawings.
  • Coordinate with QS Department for tendering, VE, VO costing and quotation.
  • Coordinate with Production Department to ensure correct work is done.
  • To provide weekly work reports to Directors & Client.
  • Safety trained and familiar with SOP/ISO practises.
  • To comply with local authority health & safety regulations and keep records as necessary.
  • Total commitment and fulfilment of duties.
  • To work with the Design & Technical Team to ensure that detailed construction drawings are completed to expected standards.
  • To manage the project through to completion via efficient project management skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Interior Architecture / Interior Design / Architectural; M&E or Structure Engineering or Project/Construction Management; prior related training a plus.
  • 3 years as a manager or higher with total 8 years work experiences.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, Hand sketch is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinkers; Highly hand on with experience in international practice a plus.
  • Confident, clear and articulate in English; Mandarin/Cantonese a plus (due to Clientele from China, Singapore, Taiwan & Hong Kong).
  • Meticulous and have attention to detail.
  • Highly demonstrate strong competencies in planning and project management to lead multiple projects and resources while maintaining a focus on quality and budget.

EOWON is looking for a Project Director with emphasis on Residential, Workplace, Lifestyle & Hospitality Projects for its Penang HQ, to work on an increasing volume of interior fit-out turnkey solution projects in the Northern Region of Malaysia.

Job Scope

  • Highly experienced to lead Interior Fitting-Out Turnkey Solution for project tactical & strategies level, planning, risk management, project finances, construction technology, completion to handover.
  • Able to lead, oversee & monitor a few projects simultaneously
  • Fully experienced on contractual OBLIGATIONS & RIGHTS in all documents from the owner, business trades, local authority bureaus & consultants.
  • Lead and monitoring build progress, overseeing project finance and ensuring project quality
  • Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions
  • Organise and chairing the meeting with clients, stakeholders, consultants, business trades and project managers to report on project progress
  • Liaising with clients, local authority bureaus and building management team for strong working relationships

Marketing Communication & Public Relations Executive
(Architecture + Interior Design) with 2 Years’ Experience and Above

EOWON is looking for a Marketing Communication & Public Relations Executive – Architecture & Interior Design(with emphasis on Hospitality, Residential, Workplace & Real Estate Sale Gallery Projects) for its Penang HQ, to work on an increasing volume of interior architecture and interior design projects in the Malaysia.

Job Scope

  • Manage, implement and develop global branding and positioning strategy to achieve company vision
  • Explore trends, data and insights for brand positioning in chosen geographies
  • Strategize and manage communications with media, industry partners and clients
  • Manage PR consultants
  • Content creation and management of all digital and social media communications
  • Prepare and monitor awards submissions
  • Ensure company presence and visibility at events aimed at positioning the brand in areas of design and thought leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Marketing & Communications
  • At least 2 years of experience working in marketing communications or public relations, preferably in a creative environment or for an Architecture / Interior Design / Landscape Design / Property Developer / Real Estate / Construction fit-out company
  • Proven track record and ability to develop, implement and manage marketing communications strategy integrated with the firm’s vision and objectives
  • Strategic vision and ability to expand company outreach in multiple geographies
  • Experience with copywriting, writing or editing
  • Media, internet & social media savvy
  • Meticulous, adaptable and creative thinker
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a dynamic & fast-paced environment

Quantity surveyor - interior design fit out with 3 years’ experience and above

EOWON is looking for a Quantity Surveyor - Interior Design Fit Out (with emphasis on Hospitality, Residential, Workplace & Real Estate Sale Gallery Projects) for its Penang HQ, to work on an increasing volume of interior architecture and interior design projects in the Northern Region of Malaysia.

Job Scope

  • To lead and establishing a client’s requirements.
  • Preparing bills of quantities by means of coordinating with all related parties (Design, Procurement and Finance), facilitate and manage all costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect cost for the BOQ items
  • Scrutinize, review of tender drawings/documents for discrepancies, additional BOQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer, liaise with consultant regarding ambiguities contract work scope and seek clarifications there to.
  • Visit Site as and when required to take measurements and monitor progress.
  • Analyze and compare quotations at bid stage.
  • Analyze and recommend subcontract payments based on actual progress and valuing completed work and issuing payments requests to finance.
  • Check and review the site requisitions and compare them with the approved Bill of Quantity (BOQ).
  • Submit and negotiate contract variations, additional works, snags and maintenance orders.
  • Preparing final accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Interior Architecture / Interior Design /Architectural.
  • 3 years of relevant experience as Quantity Surveyor in Interior Joinery Fit out Projects.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit/BIM quantity take-off experience(Revit/BIM is a plus).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong analytical thinkers; Highly analytical with experience in international practice a plus.
